But it really doesn’t have to be like that. We have the ability to change the lives of these poor animals, to help them find a better home with someone who will truly care for and appreciate them.

In this story, we’ll focus on one such dog, Juliette, who spent her entire life chained up before a kind soul stepped in and gave her a chance at a much better life.

A Depressing Life

Juliette was first discovered by rescuers from the Humane Society of The United States, and at the time, she was living in awful conditions on an abandoned farm in another country, where dogs were used as food.

From the moment the rescuers arrived, they could see how excited she was. It was almost like she knew she was about to be saved and taken to a place where she could finally be happy.

After her rescue, Juliette was brought to the United States, and her rescuers shared her story on Instagram, hoping to find someone willing to adopt her and give her the loving home she deserved.

That’s when Michigan-born actor Daniel Henney came across Juliette’s story. He saw her post on social media and felt an instant connection. He knew that she was the dog meant for him.

Without wasting any time, Henney decided he had to meet her. He jumped at the first chance he got and went to visit her, eager to change her life for the better.

Juliette’s Kind Nature

When Henney first laid eyes on Juliette, he was struck by how sweet and calm she was. They met up at a park so they could have some time to play and bond.

It turned out to be a wonderful day. Juliette enjoyed her walk in the park, and Henney was surprised by how quickly she adapted to being around new people. She seemed to settle in so naturally.

When the time came for Juliette to go to her new home, she couldn’t wait. And at her new home, she got to meet her new furry sibling, Roscoe.

The bond between Juliette and Roscoe was almost instant. Roscoe was beyond thrilled to finally have a new sister—someone to play with and spend time with every day.

Juliette is now living a life filled with adventures, exploring incredible places like Lake Michigan with her new sibling, Roscoe, and her new dad, Daniel Henney. 

Henney couldn’t be happier with how well the two dogs got along right from the start, and he’s incredibly proud of how far Juliette has come in adjusting to her new life of freedom and fun.

Henney has always emphasized how important it is to stay active in the community and help dogs like Juliette who come from such tragic circumstances.
