A video posted by the user @baileylovesmika has gone viral, all thanks to a dog named Mika, who didn’t seem to be feeling well.

However, the reason for the video’s popularity has less to do with Mika’s initial “illness” and more with what happened a bit later.

The video starts with Mika looking sorrowful, accompanied by the text, "when Mika wasn't feeling well and refused to play."

Concerned for her pet’s health, Mika’s owner genuinely believed something was wrong and decided to take her to the vet right away.

But as soon as they walked into the clinic, Mika’s mood and behavior changed completely, as if she had suddenly become her usual happy self—perhaps even more spirited than before.

The video describes Mika’s unexpected transformation as "New-found energy upon arriving to the animal hospital," and then adds, "Greeting the vet with a big smile, showing off her underbite."

When Mika’s puzzled owner asked the vet what could have caused her dog’s quick recovery from her “illness,” the vet simply replied with a smile, "Mika is well and active, most likely fake illness for treats…"

It’s hard to imagine what emotions her owner felt toward her little furry actor in that moment of realization.
